PurrNest is a static content site. We do not run user accounts, comments, newsletters (yet), or any feature that asks you to hand over personal information. This policy explains the limited data involved when you visit.

What we collect

Almost nothing. We do not collect names, email addresses, or account details. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider may log basic technical data (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use that data to identify you.

Affiliate links

Product links on PurrNest may be affiliate links (for example, Amazon Associates links with our tag). When you click one, the retailer sets its own cookies to track the referral so we can earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Those cookies and any data collected on the retailer's site are governed by that retailer's privacy policy, not ours.

Analytics and advertising

We may add privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track individuals) to understand which guides are useful. We may also add display advertising in the future, which would come with its own cookie disclosures. This page will be updated if that happens.

Children

PurrNest is a general-audience site about cat gear. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version here. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
