About PurrNest

PurrNest is an independent guide site for people who share small apartments with cats. We exist because most pet gear advice quietly assumes a house: a spare room for the litter box, a wall you can drill into, a garage for the 6-foot cat tree. Apartment life is different, and the gear advice should be too.

How we choose products

Every guide starts with the apartment constraint: footprint, noise, odor, and renter-friendliness. A product only makes our shortlist if it works in a studio or one-bedroom without annoying you, your cat, or your neighbors. From there we judge quality, durability, value, and real owner feedback patterns (recurring complaints matter more than star averages).

We do not accept payment for placement. Brands cannot buy a recommendation, and our verdicts are written by the same standard whether or not a product link earns us a commission.
